I just figured out how to make the little icon that you see next to my bookmarked link and at the top of the address line.. Ive been wondering how to do that for YEARS! I also had to create and figure out Photobucket.. Ive always used Flickr but I see its no longer nice and friendly and it no longer lets you actually USE them.. so off I went in search of something new.. I'm pretty sure I have just used up any if not ALL my brain cells (I no longer have many left.. stupid meds) but wanted to share my achievement with yall.. no one else to tell! lol

Its been 4-evvva since I had anything new in the store.. handful of reason.. but the main one was becuz I couldnt figure out my program.. Well with DaWenchies help.. bada bing bada bang.. Hows that! I don't like to share with you guys.. actually I don't like talking about me at all.. and then sometimes I wonder WTH is up.. its like people don't have a clue about me.. DUH! Ive taught every single person how to treat me and to react to me.. anywho.. thought I would do a little .. "things you prolly didn't know about me"

I really hate that my children desire to wake at 5am cuz I cant ever seem to go to bed before 3am. EVEN WITH MEDS!
I take handfuls of meds ever 4 hours just to get thru the day
I can fill the dishwasher with dirty dishes but I cant take the clean ones out. its a textile thing.. I cant stand the feel of them directly out of the washer.
I don't mind doing laundry.. I simply cant / don't put them away. While the in-laws are not here, the spare bedroom is referred to as the big closet. its doorway is directly behind the dry door, so it goes from the dry to the guest bed.. where it lives until either the in-laws come back or the household has used all the clean clothes.
until AFTER I was married to Cody, I was a cowgirl. Complete with living on a ranch, driving a 4x4 and having boots on 24/7.
I haven't talked to my mother for 10 years. Even tho Ive had a volatile relationship with her since birth, and I despise everything she is /was/will be, I miss having a mother. I debate TO MYSELF daily if I should bite the bullet and make contact with her. then I snap outta it and go on with life. I do mail her a Xmas card filled with pictures of the boys every year. I just can NOT have her in my kids life.. so it is what it is.
My brother and I can go years without speaking and its OK with both of us. when they moved out of my house.. they moved less then a block away from me. we only spoke when there was a need to.. there just wasn't any showing up JUST CUZ and chatting or hanging out..
Growing up I lived with my aunt and uncle more then I did my own home. They owned the only water(bottled and other-ed) store in town. From a young age I worked at said shop, up until the day I moved to ABQ. I had mean muscles..lol lifting, cleaning, hauling, loading and so forth, 5 gallon bottles of water and 50lb bags of salt (for softeners we also sold)
I hate using punctuation, its not cuz im lazy. Its what happens when you cheat thru that section of school where you LEARN how to use it correctly. I didnt and dont retain the laws of punctuation so I just dont. and when I do.. its normally wrong.. but its me
at almost 40 year old.. I still have the same amount of acne I did as a teenager. Cody still has a nice supply.. OUR POOR KIDS! lol
I hate body hair. not on other people.. but on myself. I was born looking like a baby orangutang and still do.. I cant help but pull hair daily.. but even at this rate.. I will never run out of body hair.. so I guess its a more successful "hobby" I have!
I'm infamous for getting into a hobby, buy every single item I MIGHT need in a lifetime of doing said craft, doing it once, and never doing it again.
I rarely to never keep anything I make.. I have the recent bookshelf I made and 1 wall art that I cant seem to figure it out or figure it out enough to convince someone else to buy it from me..
I have a addiction to clearance stickers.. even if its on a product Ive never bought, don't know what it is, cant use or wont ever use, I feel the need to buy it cuz its marked down
I cant buy ONE of anything. I have a OCD deal I guess, for some types of things in the world I must buy even numbers and other things I must buy odd numbers.. but never just one.
I have no clue where any of this is going or why I had a need to say any of it.. but I did.. so there.. (no one reads my blog anymore anyway.. so i'm going to use it as a journal I guess.. Its easier for me to type then hold a pen anymore.. my hands simply just don't work and I cant grip ANYTHING

When you see new stuff from digital designers.. What are you looking for?

Do you just want the scrap stuff (like are you looking for just buttons? flowers? or complete kits that all match?
Do you want hybrid stuff?
Do you want CU stuff?
Do you want things you can use both for digital scrapping and real scrapping/projects?
Want kits to print and make projects?
Do you just impulse buy cuz you like the colors or elements?
Do you just look at the digital stuff then go to your stash and make due with what you already have at home?
Do you look for digital items that go with your traditional stuff (do some of your layout with digital stuff, then print it and add tradition stuff to the printed sheet?
Are there things you want and just cant ever seem to find from digital / hybrid stores?

FILL ME IN~ Its been so long since Ive been in the digital loop and actually was able to talk to customers.. so you the customers.. TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT and I will do my best to not only figure this out, but to give you items you can use!

My deepest desire is to become known.. for what I'm not sure.. but I want to be a success at something.. ANYTHING.. and I want to be good at SOMETHING, that people will want said something from me.. (get outta the gutter if you slipped a bit.. ) I want to be a successful photographer, digital designer, furniture maker/remodeler...or SOMETHING else.. Im really not picky.. I will take anything.
I would loooooove to be the next person to accidentally make the world better by creating THE THING..

how do I do this???? Ive got to be missing the connect gene or something.. I know I can do almost anything I set my mind to.. but to connect my desire for greatness and my ability to carry out the plan.. its like I no longer have the right kinda plug/adapter. I keep thinkin if I surround my stuff with EVERYTHING I think could be THE THING that makes it happen.. then it will.. so far all that has done is make very little room to live in the house.. and no where to park the cars in the garage.. I'm really starting to feel like I need to be plastered on the EPIC FAIL site..

tid bit for the penny pincher's in all of us! 1 gal of Kool-Aid (or as we use, the sugar free mixes) will refill a 6 pk of Gatorade bottles.. the bottles are top rack dishwasher safe and the lids are fine in the silverware containers.. I know during the summer my kids drink non stop, and its the bottle experience they crave.. so REFILL! your wallet will love you!

My oldest son has started playing the guitar and was given a hand me down hard case. This was at Christmas time.. well the lining was just in crumbles due to it being 30+ years old!! I kept saying I was going to redo it for him.. well it was time!
This was the shell after I spent almost a hour trying to get all the BITS out.

It took me even longer to get the cardboard inserts.. and here I thought I was a master of all things cardboard.. HA!

All the cardboard covered with batting and one side covered in the material my son picked out.

I thought I was going to need more supplies, but I thought on it over night and figured out a way to make it work.. and I even have some left!

And here it is all finished.. just waiting for a guitar!

Its been so long since I posted or did anything.. I should be lashed with et noodles for a week.. Ive got alot of pictures and stuff to post.. will have to just DO IT!

swine flu? and some project 365 pictures

Well.. this Tue will be SEVEN WEEKS that I have been sick.. and I'm not talking a little cold.. I'm talking SICK IN BED. They tested me at the begin of all this for the swine flu.. I guess I didn't have it.. no one ever said I do or I don't.. I've been to Dr after Dr.. no one has a clue what's wrong with me.. I've had a fever for 6 weeks.. and a cough and a sore throat.. I'm so done with this!! The kids have been great about it all.. I seem to always fall asleep in the recliner.. and when I do.. the boys turn everything off and sneak out..lol making sure I'm all cozy and left alone.. SO SWEET.. They have really grown up.. and turning into amazing little me.. I'm so very proud of them..
I've been slacking on posting the 365 pictures.. every chance I get (normally when I go to the Drs..lol) I take my camera and see what I can take a picture of. I will try and start posting a few when I can.. I need to get back into the swing of things.. and back into designing.. I feel like I've lost my best friend since I've been sick and not able to design.. I'm using a new book frame I did.. hopefully it will be available soon.

So I've been sick for over 3 weeks.. was tested for the piggie flu.. I guess I don't have it.. no one called to tell me.. I said I would make some costumes for my oldest sons end of the year play.. well due to being sick for 3 weeks.. IM BEHIND!!! I did get the mummy outfit done and sent.. I also had to make 2 Roman soldiers.. the play is next TUE.. had I not been sick I would have been done.. EEKS.. I still need to make the other kids body armor.. then both their flanged skirt thingies.. and if I have time.. leg armor and arm armor.. this is what I have done after 2 nights till 3am.. the main problem is.. the 2nd kid is HALF the size of Logan.. lol so I cant just make 2 of everything.. I have to make Logan's.. then shrink one.. Lemme tell you.. If I have to battle.. I'm tossing one of these helmets on..lol talk about BUILT TOUGH.. who knew cardboard and hot clue could be stronger then metal!

I forgot to say.. this is all made with cardboard.. except for the inside shield . Each helmet is made from alittle over half a box ( approx12x12 box) the parts left over is what im using to make the flange (just finished both sets.. just need to decorate and paint)

A friend took me out for a drive a few days ago.. and she showed me this amazing little bed and breakfast.. this is the driveway.. COOL HUH?

Ive started making changes in my life.. and trying to be a better parent.. these 2 little books really make me smile
Charlie and Sara.. Charlie is a litter mate to our dogs.. A friend took him home.. We get them all together at least once a week to play.. on this day we went to the park.. and they were DONE after a hour of play!

Big pants, BELT, and yet.. UNDERWEAR.. I'm so glad I'm not young anymore.. I cant stand to have my butt crack flappin in the breeze!!

become one of Australia's worst peacetime disasters. Trees ignited in the blink of an eye. By the time people heard the roar, it was too late to flee ahead of the flames.Unfortunately no one or thing could have stopped this inferno that wiped out communities, bushland, and lives within minutes. Yesterday was a rough one for me.. and since it was short day for the kids.. I decided we should just GO.. so we went to Fudruckers.. the boys and hubby love it there.. its not my fav.. but its OUT and Its cooked for me.. so I was OK with it! I took some odd pictures to say the least.. I have more to add to my list.. but only got these 2 done so far..

# 111 is interesting .. this is NOT a tree..lol its a bush only about 8 inches tall.. COOL HUH? Im diggin the challenge of looking at things from different angles..

#150 is actually WHITE lava rocks.. they look like they have been dipped in paint.. they are just in sections.. no clue what it is.
So As if 365 pictures isnt enough.. Ive started adding to my list.. sometimes you just have a picture you like.. and it doesnt seem to fit the list.. well Ive decided to just keep going.. cant hurt.. right?!?

Lackluster of a day

The day started off by me taking Logan to the Dr.. oh joy! He has been getting into trouble for not paying attention and not listening.. to which he always says.. I CANT HEAR ! well we do know he has hearing issues.. so I was tired of hearing it.. and off we went.. they think he has fluids blocked in his tubes or something like that.. so a month of intense allergy and nasal drying stuff then we will test his hearing again. Ive been having my overy pain again.. so after we went to breakfast and I took him to school. I went back to bed.. didnt get up till 2pm! eeks..lol and Im ready for bed as I type!(its only 5:15!) I needed to take some yearbook pictures so decided to walk around the yard and take some project 365 pictures too.. first chance ive had to take any in a week! one day im going to have to go further then my yard tho..lol can you image all 365 in my yard or home.. that would be a challenge for sure!

Since I started late and have missed times.. I will more then likely be posting several when I do post.. tis the life of me!

Many of you attempted to follow the story of the puppy.. WHOA IS ME! what a mess.. Several people tried to help me get her.. but the people kept jumping from site to site.. offering her for more and more.. insane.. but it is what it is.. so as of now.. I have no idea where she is or what happened to her.. sad sad.. but ......... there is always a butt......... haha.. now im getting threatening emails.. well GEE who could be doing that? lol exactly.. im ignoring them.. like I have time to go back to silly stuff like that.. Hubby is not so impressed tho.. and has started keeping a file on them.. and is sending abuse emails to qwest.. since thats the provider in which the mails are coming from.. and qwest said.. keep em and take them to the police.. just in case who ever it is.. decides to try something to our house or pets or kids or what ever.. Can you believe it? over a puppy? which I offered to BUY! crazy I tell ya.. so THANKS to all those that offered us your hopefull wishes..

so the puppy.. if you have ready any posts this week.. you know one found us.. we fell in love with her.. found the reward poster.. called.. and she lived across the street.. I refused the reward.. happy story! well Im surfing thru craigslist.. like I always do.. cuz their is just some funny stuff there.. and I run across this listing for a 6 week old HUSKY mix puppy $50 .. so I look.. and this is the picture I see.
now tell me this is not the same damn puppy? I took a ton of pictures.. and I know for a fact this is her.. down to the white tip on her tail.. if I had known they just wanted to turn around and sell her I would have kept her.. the location of town is not my area.. so im confused how this little baby is now on the other side of town. I emailed the person saying I was very confused.. and sent a picture.. im sure I will never find out.. (well at least until the neighbors come home then im going to ask) GRRRR.. just ruined my entire day!

~~~EDITED AGAIN~~~OOO MMM GGG.. sorry to keep posting.. but hubby is alseep.. and I have no one to rant to..lol so the posting went missing right.. well then they posted in another section.. and I started getting replies to my post I made saying I knew it was the same dog.. and I was confused how it was free to them on sunday.. monday they lost if.. and offered a reward for its return.. I returned it.. declined the reward.. and wed its for sale.. Its a mutt.. not pure anything.. has never had any shots or anything.. and the ad is asking 50 bucks.. and that I would like her back if possible.. so many kind people emailng me left and right.. now they are posting here.. and there.. and some even replying to her add trying to get her for me.. well now shes asking for 50 PLUS a $70 re homing fee.. WHAT!?!?! and shes blocking everyone that has been trying to help me get the puppy back.. omg I hope and pray that this is not my neighbor and this is some nasty lady that stole her.. cuz I dunno if I can look at my neighbor now.. omg she has been so nasty to the people emailing.. and they have not mentioned me at all.. simply.. I want her.. and offering to PAY HER.. Im a mess.. Ive got to get away from the puter before I go nuts!!!!

I keep forgetting to do these.. maybe by the end of the year I will be in the habit!
I took this one while out in the middle of the night on one of my many times outside to take the dogs potty!

The boys never did get a chance to make cookies for the holidays, so I decided to just let them have at it.. any way they wanted.. they made 2 batches .. very colorful!

My MIL would KILL me if she found out I took a picture of her while she was sleeping.. or at all for that matter.. she made us all promise(well she tried.. I told her I wouldnt promise.. cuz I couldnt swear I wouldnt sneak a pic in when I could) that while suffering the effect of cancer we would not take any pictures.. OOPS!
And of course the little girl who spent the day with me yesterday! Only to discover she lived across the street!

mystery solved.. went out just now to take everyone pee.. and saw the poster on the lightpole.. (since we live on the corner.. thats the centeral posting spot)
the house right across the street is where she came from.lol
thats the first place I thought of too.. they had reward on the poster.. but I said NAAAA.. was my pleasure playing with her all day..
shes a red heeler.. I KNEW IT! we have blue heelers.. I swear they are the smartest dogs ever..lol
they had just got her last night.. so she is back home with her 3 year old little boy now..lol
both my boys are crying.. poor things.. but I knew she would have a owner.. gut feeling..

well so much for all that I said..lol
MIL didnt have a good night or morning.. so I didnt go on the field trip..
as the inlaws were leaving to go see the dr... I was in the kitchen making stew.. and my FIL comes back in and yells.. you have company.. I said who.. and this is what he had in his handsShe was at my front door.. 30 mins earlier she wasnt there.. cuz I took the boys to school.. so im walking them to the car.. carrying the puppy.. my dogs are out doing their morning tinnkle.. and the dog pound is driving by.. which is odd for sure.. you can call them.. and it takes 3 days for them to show up.. so I quick like got my dogs in the house.. just to make sure.. and watched him.. he was going to the new neighbors house.. so there I stood.. going.. do I turn her in .. or take her in.. well of course.. in she came.. I will take her out every so often during the day for a walk around.. to see if anyone is out looking for her.. Im sure someone put her in the back yard and went to work this morning..
I took her in to hubby.. who was just turning his light off to go to sleep.. and he said.. WHATS THAT (he has already made it law.. no more dogs until all our animals are gone- the dogs are 16 and the cat is 18..and he just doesnt want their last times here being pestered and bothered.. he wants them to know they were the ones and only ..uh.. ok.. and trust me ive tried to get a kitty.. NOPE..) I told him how it all happened.. hes glaring at me.. phone rings.. I put her on the bed.. and ran to get the phone.. I come back in and he is just baby talking her.. and loving her.. and our dogs and cat are just loving on her.. I had to giggle.. he kept saying.. ohhhh. .someone is going to be missing this pretty baby.. and all that.. like I need a puppy right now..lololol but if no one comes looking and I cant find a owner.. im sure she will stay.. but now is not a good time.. so im on the fence.. 50/50 in hopes of finding her home.. and keeping her..lol

Ive been having computer issues .. this time with email.. I swear its always something… seems there was a virus/update spyware something pain in the but that reset all my settings in my email.. so I couldnt send.. THE NERVE.. course I couldnt figure this out.. so I spent days without being able to do much.. which totally ate my mojo.. well.. it wasnt the only mojo eater.. but it was the one that ultimately ate the last drop! Hubby finally figured it out so I can send again.. course now I dont have anything really to send.. cuz I wasnt able to create.. (MIL is here and not doing well..) was just a crappy week.. glad its over.. maybe this week will be better…
I will be missing all the dr stuff tomorrow.. as I just needed to not be there and do that.. so to speak.. so Im going on a field trip with Josh.. to the planetarium. Ive never been to this one.. cody always does this trip.. but hes got to work this time. I think I could use the break.. of being in a confined space with 200 kids.. Im actually think this is going to be so relaxing..lol
So many of you asked about the new program.. well.. its a newer version.. sorry ladies.. just psp12… I already have all the photoshop ones.. and cant seem to figure them out.. so ive not reinstalled all those yet.. maybe one day.. I mean I did pay for them.. but dag gum.. im not much better off with psp12.. ive used 9 for years.. 12 does have some new buttons.. so that is coooool.. I bet I wear them out before long! lol I hope to get SOMETHING made for you and everyone in the next few days.. MIL will more then likely be going home tomorrow since shes too ill and stuff for chemo.. at least at this point.. but we will see.. FIL arrived tonight .. so we will see

Thanks so much for all the kind words on my latest kit.. was great seeing that my new found buttons of neatness(meaning I got a new graphics program.. and its got lots of new stuff!!) is indeed a hit.. and ITS FUN to boot.. thats a change for sure.. normally kits are zero fun for me.. but its like learning all over again.. and Im totally having fun!!

Kendra made this so cute tag using the kit.. its it darling??? I love seeing what is done with my stuff.. just wish more would show me..

Ive been itching to create SOMETHING.. of course that was imossible with no computer. well hubby got me up and running, and as a awww here you go.. he upgraded me to PSPX2. OY Im not one that likes change! lol specially when its my graphic stuff..Ive been using PSP9 for years.. Im not sure I will ever figure out all the new stuff.. but I am diggin the new buttons they have on this version. I decided to use my latest kit to decorate my blog. Its different.. not sure I like it or not. we will see. (I think its kinda hard to read, but then again, I think my blog has been hard to read for ages. so no big deal I guess)
My computer is still not anywhere near 100% back up and going.. I have to figure out where to pull 150 bucks from so I can get parts. I keep waiting for hubby to go.. HERE YOU GO.. some money I hid from you.. but Ill be darned if he keeps going.. well this sucks..lol along with the rest of us. Ya know .. Im not even sure who im talking to on this silly thing..lol specially now that im no longer selling and giving freebies away all the time.. I know I got at least 4 readers..lol HI LADIES!!! Well guess I will go finish watching Star Wars with the boys.. yippy.. only the millionth time to watch it! what a whirlwind of a time.. I'm glad it over...

Merry Christmas to you all! (late is better then nothing!)

Christmas eve is when I started wrapping any gifts.. up until about 4pm.. there was not one present under the tree.. we had talked to the boys about this year.. they would not be getting alot.. due to so many people outta jobs.. that meant a ton of families having NO Christmas.. so we would be spending our extra money (HAHAHA that is just funny sounding.. EXTRA!) buying gifts for the less fortunate.. they were not thrilled but both said.. OK right off the bat.. never heard a word that their were no gifts.. I was proud of em..

so I start wrapping ( I had snuck in more then I thought I had for them.. so this was going to be a long night) my inlaws were suppose to be there christmas eve..and go home the day after christmas.. but they were scared of getting stuck in one of the 3 storms that were SUPPOSE to hit us (not a one ever did) so about 7pm.. im still wrapping.. and hubby calls his parents to see for sure.. thats why they werent coming.. he said his mom was very upset.. cuz she was going to miss the boys opening presents and all that.. (we already said their would be no gift giving to anyone but the kids.. us adults dont need anythign.. and its just easier) so he came in to where I was wrapping..and told me about it.. and said.. "we should just go" well me not feeling well.. I mean.. I was feeling BAAAAAAd.. didnt even think.. and went off.. "no! this is our last christmas of the boys believing in santa.. and we have the kids.. it should be about them having it at home and blah blah blah" he said ok and off he went.. I started to wrap again and snapped.. I wasnt even thinkin of my MIL.. so as I wrapped I thought it over more and more.. how could we do this.. a main reason we dont leave anywhere is our animals.. the cat is 16 and not well.. we bend over backwards to keep food in her and the barf cleaned up.. the dogs are 14 years old.. and are far from being able to be left alone.. as they will not eat or drink if we are not home.. so as I wrapped.. and went back and pulled bows off all the gifts that were done.. I had decided I was the one that was wrong and being bad.. so I rushed to get all the gifts for the boys done.. called in hubby and said.. "ok, hows this.. we ask friends son to just sleep here tonight.. I finish wrapping.. we leave in say a hour.. drive there.. that puts us there at 1am.. we wake them up .. the boys open gifts.. we lay down for a nap.. leave first thing(inlaws had made new plans to take hubby's grandmother (my MILs mom) to her sons cabin, so they were leaving at 6am) and be home by noonish.. just in time to be at friends.. cuz she was cooking a big Christmas dinner for us all.. " hubby didn't even pause to think and yelled OK..so I rushed to finish the last few gifts.. hubby called friends son .. he came over.. I got all the boys gifts in a large box .. left all the stuff for hubby and friends and the mess.. we all grabbed our pillow and a coat.. and off we went..we got there at 1am.. the boys opened their gifts and ate a snack. we all went and laid down at 3am.. and were all up at 6am.. and back in the van and heading home.. got home at 11.. Im still sicker then a dog .. but just going thru the motions.. friend changed time for dinner to 4pm.. so hubby laid down for a little nap.. I tried to find the house.. tried to back a desert.. TRIED.. catch that? lol off we went to dinner.. Hubby snuck out as soon as we got there.. as there were a few gifts that were large that the boys didn't get cuz they were in the attic and I forgot about them.. so he snuck home.. got it all out and under the tree.. and snuck back.. we ate dinner.. came home. the boys saw the stuff.. and Logan said.. "hey! who came home and did this..? I said.. no one.. why do you ask? he said.. AHHH.. I knew Santa would find a way to see us.. even thou we did it all funny to be with gramma!" That made my entire Holiday season

After everyone was dead dog tired and heading to bed.. hubby came in as I was trying to clean up the mess so we could go to bed.. and hugged me big.. and whispered.. "thanks for going home with me" that meant a ton.. his mom is not doing well at all.. she just refuses to take care of herself.. he really doesn't see her making it to next year.. either does our friend..who is the cancer nurse.. so even tho I almost ruined it .. I managed to make it write.. and do the right thing..

hubby is now sicker then a dog.. I'm feeling a bit better.. I have no voice.. so that good for the boys..lol but at least hubby now knows I wasn't just being a baby! lol hes pretty sure hes in hell.. sad thing is.. he has to work tonight.. should be interesting!

as for the sales on the day after.. NADA HERE.. 50% off... but it was at that BEFORE Christmas.. I had to go shopping.. as we had nothing in the house.. so I had no choice.. lots of people.. but the shelves still full with lots of choices..

DEAR LORD Bleach burns when you get it directly in your eye!

I was doing wash.. and when I was about to walk away.. I saw that a box I have in front of the washer (I have a front loader, so thought maybe it was leaking) was wet! so I grabed it up.. and when I did.. it caught on the door and flicked into my face.. OF COURSE ITS PURE BLEACH! I mean.. what else would it be! lol it splattered all over my face.. my hair..my fav GRAY sweatshirt.. my pants.. and my EYE!! I dropped the box and ran into the bathroom.. grabbed watter to put into my eye.. only to have it go down the inside of my sleep.. and into my bra.. ice cold water is VERY refreshing in the morning! so off with the clothes.. all the time with only one good eye.. then my head doesnt fit under the faucet.. so im cuping water and blinking.. only to look into the mirror to see if my eye was in deed still there.. to find.. that my make up was still perfect..lololol now this is the funny part.. I dont normally put on make up.. but Logan had a drs appt at 8am.. and the boys both have their Christmas parties today.. so I was ready for it all.. Im thinkin im going to wear this makeup forever..lol it withstood.. drs, school diliveries, pure bleach, a whirlwind of a strip, and a ice bath.. my hair and make up are as fresh as the min I put it on..lololol course I cant see it now..lol JK.. it burns.. but is fine.. hubby told me to just keep flushing it every few.. He is rescue for Intel.. (among 10000 other job titles) and they have every chemical known to man kind.. most that kill.. he told me its going to burn like I swam all day in a pool with my eyes open.. but to keep flushing it just to make sure its all out and it doesnt dry into crystals.. so WILL DO!
Im such a procrastinator too.. the boys parites are TODAY.. so of course last night is when I did up the goodie bags! half the reason is cuz I didnt wanna..lol but im THAT MOM that thinks a goodie bag has to be issued for every occasion possible.. and the other half of the reason I waited was money is tight.. and I couldnt find anything to put in the blasted things! how sad is that??? I had bought a thing of playdoh at Sams after halloween.. 66 of the minis for 1.50.. I mean.. how is that a bad thing!??!?! so those went in.. minus the black ones.. they also just recently I guess.. found a pallet of halloween candy left over.. well it was the GOOD KINd.. ya know.. the 15lb bags of HERSHEY things.. for 3 bucks.. so I got 2 of those.. some for the boys lunches.. some for PMS..lol and the rest for the goodie bags.. I found some small candy canes and some christmassy suckers.. and that was IT! ive been looking for a month.. and there was NOTHING for goodie bags this year.. I saw some pencils at thanksgiving time.. but thought .. they will be there when I need them.. HA.. poor kids .. they are going to open those bags and go.. UHHH.. what gives? lol its just candy and a playdoh.. oh well.. better then nothing.. I normally make the teacher gifts too.. not this year.. no time with MIL and no brain waves.. so they got good ol store bought.. 50 bags done!

Christmas cards and Chemo

nice title huh? well that's my life these days.. This is the first year I have not designed every part of the boys Xmas picture cards.. I just didn't have the joy in me this year.. so I used all the fantastic freebies that are being offered all over the web.. great stuff.. I've been blog hopping on a regular basis now. it fills some time slots.. that starting a project just wouldn't fit into.. so that is great!! Tomorrow is another round of Chemo.. Finally got MIL healthy enough to stand it..
Anyone else kinda in the depressed mood this year.. so many people out of work.. and money is tight for everyone.. I don't know if we will have the inlaws here for Xmas or not.. so if not.. I think we are going to have just a big ol family time kinda holiday.. hubby is off this year.. (unless they allow OT and they call him in) so I'm hoping we just veg around the house.. and play games and do stuff as a family.. I'm going to put a NO WORLD OF WARCRAFT ban on the house.. well.. I should say I'm going to TRY.. at least for one entire day.. if not a few.. so we can really play together.. the boys wont be kids much longer.. Logan is 10 and Josh is 9.. the double digits of age are here.. so we gotta get in the play now.. before we, the parents become so dumb and lame.. that our children wouldn't be caught dead with us..lol
I wish you all .. a very merry Xmas.. and this year.. lets all try and go a smidgen overboard on the loving of our families.. even if its just for a small time.. it counts!!

Who knew that changing your blog could be a all day thing? well.. yes.. those of you that do it all the time.. know this stuff.. well I've never used a template or used already made things.. OH NO!!! that would be far tooooo easy.. I have to make my own.. and pull out all my hair!! I'm not 100% satisfied with the outcome.. but frankly.. I'm sick of looking at it!!! and I will be at the hospital all day tomorrow with MIL while she gets a blood transfusion. they say its about a 8 hour thing.. AND we have to leave the house by 630AM.. fun fun.. huh?? lol I cant go to bed just yet.. as she gets meds at 2 am.. and once its this late (12:12AM) its tooo late to go to bed to wake up.. to go to bed.. to wake up.. so I will just stay up.. maybe I can find a spot on the floor tomorrow and catch a ZZZ or 3?

Its sad when the only place that is safe to scream is the Internet! But that's where it is.. so that's where I did.. Before I just blab cuz I have no one to blab to.. so might as well talk to empty space.. I want to say THANK YOU to you ladies that took the time to drop me a note when I asked for a prayer.. I don't ask for others to do much for me.. ad I learned early in life.. if you ask things of others.. you find out no one REALLY cares THAT much .. and you are let down.. so I stopped asking anything from anyone.. I just either sucked it up.. or did it myself.. so THANK YOU for the prayers and kind words.. Things right now are so.........AAAAAAAAAAAA.. there is some good news.. Took MIL to the NERO Dr yesterday.. he was positive she didn't have parkinsons.. just some shakes and tremors gone bad.. and they decided to move thru out her body.. he is ordering some tests.. and put her on some anti seizure med's.. fingers crossed it at least slows down her trembling.. cuz I don't know how anyone can handle that.. from head to toe.. severe shakes.. all going at different speeds and directions.. crazy! we are also having some accident situations.. only to discover.. that her accidents can give those in contact with things.. cancer.. LOVELY.. what happened to telling people these things BEFORE things happening.. I just don't know if it WAS talked about .. and because I wasn't there I don't know.. or if it wasn't.. maybe it was and no one comprehends the severity of it all.. but when I find out that things my inlaws think are just a "accident" and oh well.. don't worry.. that when those things happen.. and my children.. and my hubby.. and myself are at risk of getting cancer just by being there and helping out.. that's just not OK! was a REAL BAD DAY.. and now I have to take my MIL to the drs office tomorrow for blood work.. and after this day from hell.. pull someone there aside.. to address the issue... I just don't know how to do it.. or what to say.. cuz I know how my MIL is going to react.. she's going to take it personal.. and that she's doing something on purpose.. and that she's a burden and and and.. I just know deep in my gut its going to go bad.. and that on top of today's hell day.. lets just say thanksgiving is going to be lovely. but hey.. my families lives are now in jeopardy.. its no longer just a little thing ARRRRRG.. I just feel like health wise I'm not going to make it to the end of this.. my inlaws involve me just enough .. ya know?she needs to be here 24/7 so I can take care of her.. she's going beyond down hill by taking care of herself.. and I know they are trying and doing their best.. but its not enough.. the entire time she goes home I worry like mad.. cuz every time she shows up.. she worse off.. and them in suppose to make it better.. but they are just not comprehending so much of all this.. and only taking bits and parts of instructions.. and thinking they are doing the right thing.. when in reality.. they are doing everything wrong.. and her life is at stake..I'm just so .. in a million pieces.. I just hope and pray that the lord just stays beside me.. as I cant do it alone.. and I do feel I'm battling it alone..

Could really use some prayers

just got a frantic call from my MIL..

she started having the shakes REAL bad after her 2nd chemo.. well its progressively gotten worse every day.. she called today to tell me she cant take it anymore.. and that she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown.. and that she cant wait to see the Nero dr on the 28th.. and what should she do cuz she's in big trouble.. she told me she called the drs and she's waiting for them to call her back.. I told her there was nothing they could do over the phone.. she HAD to come up here.. she's scared of being put into the hospital and dieing.. she's over medicating herself to make herself sleep.. cuz she doesn't shake when she's asleep.. (so she says at this point) that has me worried as she's taking more meds then I would.. and I could take elephant tranquilizers .. and not be effected.. and she's mixing everything she has.. cuz stuff is starting to not work..
the kids only have half day today.. then no school Thurs and Fri.. which is good .. and bad.... Cody is now off till Sunday.. which is good too.. .. its good that the boys can be with us.. and not miss school if and when we have to dart to go get her.. as FIL cant come bring her till sat... but bad.. cuz then they will be around for everything.. school at least gets them out of the middle.. so they aren't as scared..
she's terrified.. she dropped the phone about 4 times in our 10 min talk.. it shakes right out of her hand..
no matter if Cody goes or me.. we will go in a bit to start that way.. they cant do anything for her THERE.. so we have to get her here NOW.. Cody of course is in bed.. he didn't get home till after 7 this am.. I had to go in and wake him to tell him about his mom..
I hated saying.. wake up.. you have to go get your mom.. but take a nap first.. like anyone could sleep after that news..hopefully FIL can take her half way.. which cuts the drive time for Cody in half.. and then its only a 6 hour drive..
I've had this thing in the pit of my stomach all week.. didn't know what it was.. thought it was just left over from my issues.. and all that.. now I know what it was
could use a prayer or 2.. please..

I will of course still do my own personal stuff.. but I'm no longer a designer or a seller of stuff..This might.. might being a very loose word.. but more then likely will consider this part of my life closed..
I wish ALL the DSO ladies prosperity and happiness.
Maybe this is what I needed to happen so I can get my health in check? Maybe this was not good for my soul?(doesn't matter if it makes sense to you.. it does to me) No clue.. but everything happens for a reason.. right? right..
Its so funny the flow of a Internet life..lol ya know when you first start.. and you find chat and friends and IMs.. and then it just gets.. OY! always drama.. so you leave for a bit.. and move on to something diff.. then it starts all over again.. then you think.. ok go this way.. same bytes different sites..lol I guess its just the way virtual life goes.. I think the net draws drama right into it.. maybe that's what feeds it? lol
ok this is making no sense to any of you.. and that's ok.. so I will just stop it at that..

Time got away from me.. AGAIN.. I hate Oct! everything in the world happens IN OCT! Im glad its over. So I was able to finish my Haunted House, Finish the boys costumes, get the Halloween stuff all done, Get the house back in order for hubby to come home to.. and get a few things up in the store..

I think it turned out GREAT!!! I had several people comment on where I bought it.. which was COOL! Then I had a few ladies say they were going to make their hubbies come over to see it so they could make them one.. I informed them this was not a HUBBY job.. its glue and Trash kinda project.. and THEY COULD DO IT!.. they gave me lots of bad looks..lol OOPS! anywho.. here is the finished house.. its hard to take pictures of it (well for me it is) when its glowing..

there is too much going on to fill you in on this one post.. so will just hit some highlights..
first.. I was missing again cuz it was time for more MIL chemo.. and there was issues this go.. AND on their way home from here.. they hit a HUGE deer and totaled their truck.. so that didn't help..

2nd.. Hubby is still out of town.. he should be home this sat.. THANK GOD! not only is he greatly missed.. but its just almost been too much for me to handle this go.. mainly cuz im in so much pain (stupid spine)

3rd.. Its HALLOWEEN time dontcha know? with all that is going on.. my most fav holiday is almost here and im not ready! I did manage to get the boys goodies bags for class done.

4th.. the boys costumes.. OY.. Im almost done with those.. still need to make cape/cloak things.. (they are going as Sam Wise and Froto Baggins)

5th.. I always do a photo session this time of year.. and hope I get some cute pics for xmas.. well this year I got TONS of cute ones.. If you wanna see.. head over to my flikr photostream and check them out

6th..lol I started this darn haunted house forever ago.. and life didnt allow me to do this project I saw in a magazine.. well ... mine is so not what theirs was.. but Im diggin it.. Im prolly have done.. I still need to finish all the stuff.. then add lights and all that

7th.. nothing new in the store.. YET.. I have several things I just need to finish up on a few things and then we are good to go!

This was suppose to be a cartoon hand.. I got the big finger OK but the other fingers are HARD! lol

I opted out of drawing the mouse sleeping cuz he ate all the cheese.. just looked harder then I thought I had the gumption for today.

Now I've already been asked is this a EGG? or a ROCK in a puddle..its a EGGGGGGG~

These little things were harder then they looked.. in the book their are only like 6 lines.. and poof KILLER WHALES! well after about 150 lines, mine still looked like some deformed sperm...lol

Today's Fav.. it looks sooo cool in real life.. but its alot lighter.. had to darken it up a smidge.. the boys like this one too.. I've never in my life been able to do these kind of angles.. so to me.. this was a good one!

I DID IT!! I drew something!!

so .. dunno if any of you know or not.. but I cant draw to save my life..
I can copy almost anything.. but to draw.. FOUUUURRRRGETTA BOUT IT!
well today I was just not feel spiffy.. and thought I would just sit and be.. well beside me was one of the kids drawing books.. they have a ton of them.. well one thing led to another.. and I spent the afternoon just sitting and doodling.. was totally fun.. hubby even decided to draw one of the things.. these are done as "lessons" I call them draw alot and erase even more.. but oh well! anyway.. these are my first real life drawings..lol I'm sure as a kid I drew things.. but not like this.. yall are the only people I know.. so I'm telling you..lol

And here is the one Cody did! He of course can draw all the time.. and is FANTASTIC about it.. But its one of those things he cant (wont?) do if asked.. its got to be when he is in that zone.. WHAAAATEVVVA!

Filling you in on my so called life

I've been getting trickles of emails wondering what's what.. so I guess its time to fill yall in.. so ya know I'm not being rude and ignoring you so yall remember when I went on vacation.. we went with my inlaws.. when we got back.. hubby was seriously ill and in and out of the hospital..when he got well.. his mother got severally ill.. she kept going to her local ER.. they kept saying things like. its..... here is some prilosec well she was in so much pain.. and her abdomen was so swollen and filled with fluid.. I drove down there and brought her here..took her to the ER the next day.. and she was in the hospital here for a month..she was riddled with cancer.. and if we hadn't removed it when we did.. she would have been dead by Xmas.. if not sooner..she had several operations in that month here.. and since they don't live here.. and hubby works and goes to school.. it was me who was her primary caregiver..so to speak.. they removed everything they could in her abdomen.. she still has cancer all over.. but they are pretty sure the chemo will keep it at bay..since she lives so far away.. my FIL is having to drive back and forth every week.. he still works full time and has no more vacation time left.. she starts chemo Monday.. in the past month and a half.. she has been at her own house 4 days.. the rest with me.. we will be selling our house.. they will be selling theirs.. and we will be having a house built so that we will be all together..she is also almost blind due to macular degeneration.. so things are having to be done fairly quick.. we already have the land and house picked.. and have all the down payments.. anywho.. just wanted to let yall know.. I'm not ignoring you.. life at the moment is just more important then my email.. I'm also in poor health.. having some heart issues.. and major back issues.. I'm on a lot of pain killers.. which I might add.. are not working.. they are however giving me severe migraines all the time.. (I just cant get ahead!) so depending on life.. you may or may not hear from me on here.. Im trying to keep up.. but its getting harder and harder.. and now that Chemo is fixing to start.. Im just unsure.. I need my MIL to have a fighting, strong way about her.. and she is just not going to do it.. so I have to be the one to do it enough for her too.. cuz shes just not a positive person.. and its starting to really show.. and starting to chop me down! I start PT for my back in 2 weeks.. hopefully that will help.. I dont think it will but it might!!

So today is my 16th wedding anniversary. We had no plans.. been there done that.. ya know?
well I of course.. couldn't sleep past 5am.. why you ask? cuz today I was going to be allowed to sleep in!
HA! so as I'm laying there trying my best to fall asleep.. I get this Idea.. COFFEE TABLE!!
Up I go.. Dressed I am! in the garage like a woman on a mission!
Its so early the dogs didn't even wanna come with me..
Now to build me a table.. if only I could find the darn tools!
I have a ton of empty cases.. where lovely tools USE to live!
after about a hour or so.. Logan comes out(in undies of course!) thinkin he was going to kill some stranger that was taking his stuff!
sees its only me .. yells HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! and off he goes..
comes back in a bit dressed and ready to build..
I've now found tons of stuff I thought we had lost.. and even some tools.. so I'm thinkin.. OK! LETS START
I even have the air compressor locked and loaded!
course now Logan and I are standing there going NOW WHAT!
I only had the vision of the top of the table.. ya know.. no legs or structure..
we cant find the nail gun.. Logan of course goes.. DING! DADDY! off he goes.. comes back and says.. daddy doesn't know where it is..
um ok.. thanks! (daddy is still in bed of course!) PRESTO! find the gun.. but no nails.. off he goes again.. back in he comes..
daddy doesn't know EXACTLY where they are but he will be right here.. umm OK!
and yeppers here he walks in.. all smiles.. gives me a morning kiss .. tells me happy 16th.. I see the nails!
dontcha love when help arrives only to see what it is you were looking for the min they arrive!
the door fly's open.. there is Josh in all his glory.. madder then all get out.. screaming to SHUT UP!! SOME PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!..
we all laugh.. and promptly notify him that it is now10am.. (I actually didn't get out of bed till 730.. not 5am~)
with a few pointers I'm off and away.. building my table..
get the rough of it done.. by now its 1:30.. and hotter then helllllllllo!
I come in.. and say.. ya know the only way I'm going to get cool is to go to the movies..
OK.. up we jump.. slimy and all.. and head to see KUNG FO PANDA!
ahhhh.. its freezing in there.. and its great! alittle bit into the movie.. ut oh.. tummy..
off I run.. there I sit.. back to the show I go.. few mins later.. off I run.. there I sit..
back to the show. few mins later.. off I run...there I sit.. back to the show..
see the last few mins.. and its time to go..lol GEE THANKS!
Home we come.. and I just cant let the table sit.. I have another idea!

back out Cody comes.. we get that stuff done.. back in the house him and the boys go..
I decide to play some more.. do some sanding.. and make some coasters for my new table..
now its 9:30pm.. and I'm dirty.. stinky.. hungry.. TIRED.. and hurting..lol now that is a great wedding anniversary!
I think I spent about 2.5 hours in TOTAL with Cody all day! lol

OH MY LORD SHOOT ME NOW!!
its almost 8 and I'm JUST getting done.. from.. cleaning and redoing one sons room
didn't start out that way.. Had this grand idea this morning while laying in bed , I'm going to get up and go make him a ton of little shelves all over his room! using a lot of the left over wood from the bathroom remodel. (they are only about 4 inches wide) was going to put these all over in his non poster spaces.. so that he could put all of his transformers (his daddy collected them as a kid.. gave them to Logan, Logan then started collecting them cuz daddy did... but doesn't REALLY play with them.. )
so to get them out of this huge eye sore of a box that is always in the way.. I was going to "display" them all over the walls..
GOOD IDEA! cept.. I couldn't get to the walls! (good thing my aunt , while here visiting, "helped" him clean his room.) cuz 10 hours later.. IM DONE!! minus all the shelves tho..lol I did get everything CLEEEEEEEAN.. vacuumed, dusted, FOUND.. and then I rearranged his room.. so now those of us not 9 can WALK thru it! always a bonus I think!
I'm beat.. but he is totally diggin his room.. keeps telling me I'm the best mom in the world.. HAHA!

so that is how I spent my "Holiday" 1 room outta 10 aint bad.. right??? lol
**side note** do ALL boys sneak/hide food in their rooms? I mean, he keeps our kitchen CLEAN of anything edible.. but yet.. the amount of crumbs, packages, umm.. no longer edible..lol bits.. that I found.. was just amazing..

Early Morning M~E~L~T down

Backtracking - Last night was horrid for dinning out.. My all time fav restaurant.. is switching things. WHY? it aint broke! so me and the boys dinner basically sucked.. they at least did get a bit to eat.. I opted to never mind my order.. So Cody comes home from work/school and announces he's STARVING and to get ready to go.. we tell him the story.. now he's bummed .. cuz he wants to go eat.. so we all get re ready and out we go (its 8pm by this time!) We decide to head to Red Robin.. Never been there on a family night.. it was fun.. they had a balloon lady and face painting.. well the boys were not hungry of course.. so they got a shake.. and went and stood in line to be painted.. Josh opted for a GIRAFFE (big shocker there) and Logan opted for a DIAMOND BACK. They were so proud.. until.......... I know.. its the mom in me to add the BUT......... Until I told them.. oh dear.. its bed time guys.. I offered to wrap them in plastic.. but soon realized its tooooo hot and they would sweat the bad boys off in no time.. so we all opted for a RISK IT approach.. 5AM.. yes you read that right.. 5AM they are both up.. frantic.. and miserable.. Their paintings were missing crucial parts and smudged on other parts.. told them to go back to bed.. we would deal with it in the morn.. I did manage to catch a cat name.. .. 6:45AM.. realize I'm fighting a uphill battle.. and go ahead and get up.. tell them to get dressed and eat.. we then had to hunt for paint.. I keep tons of it around.. think we could find the colors we needed? HECK NO! anywho.. we make some changes to some parts.. and away we go..

Josh's giraffe.. ended up with no head what so ever.. and a missing chest.. most of that was found on his upper arm and face.. I didn't wanna re do the entire thing.. so we hoped for the best.. got the white base on.. got the black outline on.. and umm.. we have no brown.. we have lots of brown bottles of DRIED paint.. but nothing workable.. We did manage to get him eating something again.. I wanted to give him some branches.. josh insisted leaves must go BACK ON IT!.. ok ok ok.. my first attempt did nothing for him.. he wanted it to have BIG LEAVES.. oooooooook! big leaves it is..

Logan's snake had much bigger issues.. half of him was on Josh's back side.. (I told them to not sleep in the same bed - but some nights.. they just sneak it) other parts of his snake.. were flat out.. GONE.. others.. on the face and LEG.. lol guess you know how he sleeps! Once again.. this darn snake is covered in brown.. so I get the white base back on.. (had to just redo the entire thing) and it started mixing with the black.. so its gray.. he thought that was cool.. GREAT !!!.. get almost done with everything.. I'm now on the head.. and he screams.. STOP!!!!!!!!! the lady last night had used glitter paint.. GEE THANKS LADY! well I don't have glitter paint.. now could I find glitter at this time of the morn.. I'm amazing myself I'm getting paint on a human.. so we alter the face a smidgen.. of course.. he's now much meaner.. with bloody fangs and glowing red eyes.. He thought .. in the end... that it looked better then it did last night.. WHOOO HOOO.. YOU GO MOM!! Course the lady last night used face painting paint.. and I of course used reg paint.. so mine is already cracking.. So I guess I know what I'm getting next time I go to the store.. now to just fine the GLITTER STUFF!!

So we have belt tests approx every 3 months. This particular belt test dang near got the best of me. Ive yet (until this one) to have a issue breaking any of boards.. actually quite the opposite. I'm known for my powerful breaks..
(I know I'm fat! so stop going.. uhhh YEA RIGHT! - but my legs are solid muscle) I even have several of the honored holes in the ceiling! ANYWHO! This break we had to spin around and kick from behind.. well I'm not sure if you noticed or not.. but I'm no ice skater! No matter what I did.. I kept missing.. or wasn't lined up right and didn't have the power I needed. Well after about the 6th try.. I got it.. FINALLY! and just so happens our mental note for that belt was PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE! fitting don't you think??

started this stupid things weeks ago then with josh and life.. it just got put off..
then I discovered.. AFTER my first sketch was drawn and the wood cut.. It was not going to be what I wanted..
so I sketched again.. went and had more wood cut.. only to discover.. it cant be built like that! (this is where a carpenter would laugh his buns off at me)
so 3rd sketch and a tetris of sorts of the cut wood.. this is what I have.. it was suppose to be a wall of cubes.. like a cubed book shelf kinda thing.. *coughs* well.. maybe in my next project..lol
this also was suppose to STAND..lol but when I asked hubby to hep me assemble.. he crabbed the warped wood.. so its the leaning tower of paper now.. which is FINE.. he helped.. so I don care! it can lay just as easy as it can stand!!
but this will hold ALSMOST all my 12x12 papers..lol yea.. hubby is not thrilled at my amount of stuff gather again.. but I tried to show him.. I've been taking things out of where they were so I can SEE them..
so I think my next project is to make myself a desk/work table.. and then attempt those darn cube things again..lol

So I was looking around today at all the Fall sales and stuff.. and saw some pumpkins that I really liked.. so I came home and made something KINDA like them.. I dont like the large base but it was too easy to tip without.. and I didnt want to cut a new base so I grabbed a scrap I already had laying around.. Had many people email and ask.. WHATS THIS MADE OF?? Its a end cut from a 2x4!~ I had a scrap laying around and went to work carving and cutting..

and I have yet to get something together for the boys teachers..
well its hard to give a GOOD gift.. because Logan has 2 teachers and 3 EAs in him class then Josh has 1 teacher..
so this is what I came up with..lol went Target this morn for laundry soap and saw they had these freezer mugs on sale for 79 cents each.
then thought ok now what..? so kept walking... and saw some gum ...lol and went OH EXTRA.. I know its cheezie..lol but hey..
butt poor = cheap..lol

but I think they are CUTE!

The teachers get 3 packs of gum..lol

So we all know yesterday was V-day.. It snowed here so there was no school..
So today enough snow has melted that school is a go. The boys both had to take drinks to class for the party (I'm assuming they are going to do their parties today)
I have double bagged drinks for each boy. I ask them.. CAN YOU CARRY THESE? They both proclaim YES MOM!!! I'm thinkin GREAT! I don't have to get out and go to their classes.. I can just drop them off!! (if I was going to have to take them I was going to go to a different place then where I go to drop off)
So we get almost to the front of the drop off line and they both proclaim.. WE CANT CARRY THESE!!!!!!!!.. OOOOK.. so I pull into the LAST parking spot and out we get. I notice.. that the snow was plowed.. but the ice was left. just a random thought at this point. I load myself with 50+ juices and off we start. slipppp.. I bobble.. and save myself.. I think to myself. THANK YOU KARATE!!
step step step. slippppp. bobble bobble SAVE! wheeeeew!
step step step.. going good now! step step.. slipppp.. bobble bobble SWOOOOSH! another one bites the dust.. yeppers.. MAN DOWN!
As soon as I hit the slushy ice.. I hear from a DISTANCE.. are you ok mom? at this point I'm so embarrassed because I just did this in front of everyone dropping their kids off.. all the kids (everyone single one of them seemed to know me today.. ) and all the staff out front.. which I know all of from working there.. I look behind me to make sure the boys are safe and behind me and not in the road.. they are facing the OTHER direction acting like they have no clue who I am.. LOL which makes me start laughing..
the 2 dads, armed with snacks and kinder kids.. don't know if I'm crying or laughing. .and have arms full and cant do anything but ask me if I was ok. I reply.. yes. and am trying to make my hands and knees come some what close to my body. The duties in front of the school are screaming.. ARE YOU OK MINDI?????? so of course all the people that had no clue I was down.. are now looking! so I'm yelling.. IM FINE IM FINE!.. meanwhile. the boys still don't know me. but keeps asking.. are you ok?
so I'm trying to get up.. but I'm in the middle of what seems like lake Michigan. I cant get any grip.. I still have bags of juices in each hand. so now I've decided.. I HAVE to get up. I'm dying here.. so I CRAWL to dry land..lol get up.. and it was like EF Hutten was talking.. not a car moving.. not a person walking.. all eyes on me.. I'm wishing I had fallen in a hole.. but NO! that would be too easy! so I finally get to my feet.. with no help from ANYONE..lol the boys still are about 50 paces behind me.. going.. man that looked like it hurt..lolol.. I get them both half way and proclaim.. IM DONE! and they could carry their own juices the rest of the way.. and to much of my surprise.. both grab a bag and say.. NO PROBLEM and are off and running..lol

lesson learned today: If you think your child is being a smidge lazy and your pretty sure they can do something by themselves. .just make a goober out of yourself in front of their school.. and watch them snap too and do the job even faster then you had wished!

now I'm off to bandage all my boo boos..lolol

A Long but GOOD Day

The Day started about 5am for me.. I just couldnt sleep and I was SURE the boys would be up early! At 6:30 I got up and my MIL got up at that time too.. I snuck in and got the boys up and the fun began..

The boys tore through things super fast! We got dressed and headed out to Hometown buffet for a Lunch I didnt have to cook! MIL and FIL headed home about 3pm.

We all instantly got in our comfort clothes and just chilled.. Im thinkin we shoulda taken the picture BEFORE we chilled! lol

any way.. here we are!

After a lazy day yesterday. They boys were off doing their own thing. Josh was in his room watching TV and Logan was in his room coloring. I decided to go lay down with Logan and see "whats up" After cuddling a bit.. I grabbed a crayon and was pretending to write on his face. I thought he would go NO NO NO NO but to my shock.. he said. FIX ME UP MOM!

Well the crayons were not working so I grabbed the washable markers and went to town. He had a great time.. and went and showed Josh. Well of course Josh wanted to be done up too!

My best gal pal has been in MO for the past 13-ish weeks.. and I was checking on her apt and getting her mail and stuff for her while she was gone (she lives a few blocks away)

I didnt know when she was coming home. We were out and about last night.. and when we came home there she was.. complete with this great basket for me!!
